DJ Indonesia Govt Auditor Says Bank Mandiri Probe Widening

The Indonesian government's chief auditor said Thursday that an investigation of troubled Bank Mandiri's books is extending beyond its lending portfolio to other operations.

"Now we're not just auditing loans, but auditing procurement and information technology (purchases)," State Audit Agency head Anwar Nasution told Dow Jones Newswires.
