Business Ethics, the magazine of corporate responsibility, today announced that Pitney Bowes has been named one of the "100 Best Corporate Citizens" for the seventh year in a row. The survey is nationally recognized as an indicator of best practices in corporate social responsibility.
Only 16 of the 100 firms on the list have been named all seven years. In addition, Pitney Bowes has moved up the ranks considerably in the 2006 survey -- from 33rd in 2005 to 15th in 2006.
"Pitney Bowes is one of only 16 companies that have been on our list for each of the seven years we have published it. That's a remarkable achievement worthy of our congratulations," said Michael Connor, Publisher and Executive Editor of Business Ethics.
