Boot out ineffectual directors; But fewer public companies evaluating performance, says SID

Out of 169 respondents, 73 per cent conduct appraisals of individual directors, compared to the 84 per cent found in the last poll of 96 firms in 2004.

The proportion that does not conduct such evaluations at all has increased to 29 per cent from 18 per cent.
