The real death of CSR...?
Erik Assadourian disagrees with Jeremy Sweeney about CSR's future demise
While I am hopeful that Jeremy Sweeney's obituary of CSR ["An obituary: CSR is dead"] will prove prescient, if we are not careful, CSR may die in the near future, not because it transforms into "corporate sustainability", but because CSR becomes too hard to maintain in a destabilising world where competition over shrinking resources is fierce and ecological decline is rampant.
It will take vision and aggressive pursuit of the responsibility agenda to ensure that CSR doesn't receive an obituary like this:
