Second Board Governance Programme

From: September, 2006, till February, 2007

The Faculty of Law of the University of Johannesburg will present the second Board Governance Programme from September, 2006, till February, 2007.

This programme investigates corporate governance from a South African and international perspective with a particular emphasis on the board and on directors. The programme is presented by Professor Jean du Plessis, of Deakin University, Australia, formerly Professor of Corporate Law at RAU. Contact tuition is compressed into a five-day programme that will be presented in Johannesburg from Monday, 25 September, till Friday, 29 September. After attending the lectures students who wish to complete the programme follow a distance-based study programme in the following months, submit assignments and write a final examination in February, 2007.
