Seminar training program 2006 - Practical Approaches to Market Oversight
Each year IOSCO organizes a Seminar Training Program in its headquarters in Madrid. The STPs, which are open to all IOSCO members, are generally aimed at participants from emerging market regulators and aim to train these regulators in aspects relating to the IOSCO principles.
The objective of the STP of 2006 is to promote the adequate functioning of international capital markets by training regulators on the practical approaches to certain aspects of supervision on capital markets, while at the same time enhancing the practical implementation of IOSCO principles and the use of the IOSCO MMOU in these fields.
