Our membership meetings continue to provide an exceptional forum for world leaders to discuss important topics in global finance. At our recent 2006 IIF Spring Membership Meeting in Zurich, participants heard Keynote Addresses by many distinguished leaders, including Prime Minister Kazimierz Marcinkiewicz of Poland; President Jean-Claude Trichet of the European Central Bank; Finance Minister Dr. Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala of Nigeria; and Former President Dr. Ricardo Lagos of Chile.
We are once again developing a strong program for this fall and we expect the gathering to include more than 600 senior bankers, investors, and policymakers from every region of the world. This year we will have a special addition to our agenda.
