Quality review verdict – good but could do better


Quality review results in the last financial year indicated that 85 per cent of practices are meeting the majority of standards, but there are still some issues to address. The results were announced this week in the Institute's Annual Report on the Quality Review Program, 2005-6 (PDF: 249KB).

Results
During the year, the following reports were issued:

* No further action required - 11 per cent
* Adequate procedures with minor issues to address - 74 per cent
* Follow up review required - 14 per cent
* Referral to the Institute’s disciplinary processes for investigation - one per cent.
