Bosses concerned over climate change



Most business leaders are worried about climate change and believe companies have the main responsibility in tackling the problem, a survey has found.

But less than half of those polled believed pollution was the main cause of global warming and only a third planned to buy a more fuel efficient car.

The results come from an online survey of chief executives in hundreds of Australian businesses by the Business Climate International website.

"The results are quite encouraging in that they show company bosses all over the country already in top gear considering complex issues and their solutions," website editor Sandy Kaye said.
