A two-day Effective Corporate Governance Workshop
The Workshop is being organised by GovStrat Limited and the Jamaica Chapter of the World Council for Corporate Governance. Janis Riven, past president of Chartered Secretaries Canada (CSC), a 50,000 member organisation, will be the international facilitator and guest of Vindel Kerr, CEO of GovStrat.
According to Kerr, "the workshop is intended to make members of Boards of Directors, particularly experienced, newly-appointed and first time directors of corporate boards, become more aware of the legal duties, liabilities and governance responsibilities which are associated with the position of director, whether in the private or public sector.
