Communicating CSR: Whose Job Is It and Do The Leaders Excel?
Some of the most socially-responsible companies are not the best communicators; especially when it comes to letting the general public know about their good works. With a greater consumer and public awareness of CSR, there is a growing debate about the role of communications. It appears that the time for enhanced CSR communications has come.
Followers of this blog know that as a Georgetown University graduate student, I spent several months studying 20 businesses considered CSR leaders for a research project conducted by Georgetown’s Center for Social Impact Communication.
