UNEP FI 2009 Global Roundtable

The UNEP FI Global Roundtable has set the global agenda for sustainable finance over the years. As it travels across continents, this biennial event attracts hundreds of professionals from the global financial sector and its many stakeholders in the public and private domains, including governments, civil society and academia. In 2009, UNEP FI is proud to hold its first-ever Global Roundtable in the African continent, which will take place in Cape Town, South Africa from 22 to 23 October and will be the highlight event of Cape Town Green Week.
Amid the global financial and economic crisis, the Cape Town Roundtable has become even more timely and relevant as the financial sector reassesses traditional thinking and practices, and explores the best way towards achieving sustainable financial markets and economies.
