Building on the UN climate change talks taking place in Bonn in June, a broad range of international experts will meet in Berlin to assess climate governance risks. The conference, which is open to journalists, will look at how massive financing and other efforts to mitigate climate change are structured, regulated, monitored and disclosed.
In the next three years alone, countries have pledged US$30 billion to help mitigate and adapt to the problem. The conference provides an international forum for leading experts and decision-makers of the development and climate community to contribute their perspectives to the discussion on climate governance. It is organised by InWEnt - Capacity Building International, Germany and Transparency International.
