More than 20 years of international experience working as an investment banker, financial advivor and entrepreneur, having lived and worked in Australia, Europe, Asia, the USA and Latin America.

Con más de 20 años de experiencia profesional internacional, ha trabajado recientemente como consultor independiente en el desarrollo de empresas, desarrollo estratégico y de negocios y levantamiento de capital (capital privado y otros). Anteriormente, trabajó como asesor financiero y en compra/venta de empresas. Ha vivido y/o trabajado en Australia, Europa, Asia, EEUU y Latinoamérica. Actualmente, trabaja en Consenda y mantiene su weblog Governance Focus, enfocado en el área del gobierno corporativo en Español & English.

Past experience includes the coordination and overall management of the international investment banking and corporate finance activities of Banco Bilbao Vizcaya Argentaria (a major Spanish bank) covering 7 offices in various Latin American countries, with over 75 executives. Onésimo has also been involved in advising groups with industrial holdings/investments on their portfolio strategy, performance monitoring and on the industrial position of each individual company, including potential M&A and partnerships.

Onésimo has worked as Corporate Finance Director at Banco Bilbao Vizcaya Argentaria and as Vice President at Morgan Stanley Dean Witter. Onésimo has extensive multinational experience, having lived and worked in Europe, Asia, the US, Latin America, and Australia

Education includes Master in Business Administration at Instituto de Estudios Superiores de la Empresa (IESE) in Barcelona, Spain, and Bachelor of Economics at LaTrobe University in Melbourne, Australia.

Onésimo speaks fluent English and Spanish and has a working knowledge of Portuguese and Italian.

Onésimo has been a speaker and led seminars on numerous occasions, as well as having authored a number of technical financial articles.
