Nestlé chief takes on additional role

Nestlé, the world's biggest foods group, yesterday said chief executive Peter Brabeck would take on the additional role of chairman from April. Financial Times article.

I wonder if this is the application of new board governance procedures in Switzerland. Or is it that there aren't enough Swiss executives to fill all the posts, and they don't want to expand beyond, at least at the highest levels.
