Business Council of Australia - a CEO Forum

The Business Council of Australia is an association of Chief Executives of leading Australian corporations with a combined national workforce of almost one million people. It was established in 1983 to provide a forum for Australian business leadership to contribute directly to public policy debates. The BCA’s aspiration is that Australia should be the best place in the world to live, to learn, to work and do business.

As an authoritative opinion leader on business issues that matter to Australia, the BCA has the following agenda:

  • development of world class education, skills and innovation
  • reform of workplace relations and participation to support job creation and enable people to work to their full potential
  • reform of regulatory and taxation system in favour of increased competitiveness
