It takes a village to design, implement, and monitor the controls required to be in compliance with the Sarbanes-Oxley Act of 2002. Here are some key roles and responsibilities.

Most companies have put together special task forces and teams to design and implement controls and to help prepare for Sarbanes-Oxley Section 404 audits. These teams are often assisted by consultants and auditing firms (although not the auditing firm that will be conducting the 404 Audit).
