Independent directors" register to boost corporate governance

The Independent Directors’ Register, launched by Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW), Malaysian Chapter on Tuesday, will enhance the corporate governance of Malaysian public listed companies.

The online register, which is designed to bring together companies looking for board members with suitably qualified ICAEW members, will also benefit foreign companies looking for directors in Malaysia.
