SOX Compliance--It’s All About the Business Process

In this week’s online edition of Compliance Week, the editors, along with Raisch Financial Information Services, evaluated corporate 10-K filings for Russell 3000-class firms. They’ve determined that 7.7% of those that have filed final statements so far had been given a failing grade by their external auditors for internal controls management in accordance with interpretations of Section 404 of the Sarbanes-Oxley Act (SOX).
