‘Business Ethics Summit’ Focuses on Media Coverage of
Corporate Scandals and Ethics Issues

NEW YORK, NY – The inaugural Business Ethics Summit, a one-day, intensive look at emerging issues in the field of corporate social responsibility and business ethics, was held on Thursday, April 21, 2005 at the New York Helmsley Hotel in New York City. The summit, entitled “Corporate Scandals, Corporate Responsibility and the Media: Who Should We Believe?” examined media coverage of the corporate scandals and business ethics issues, and was attended by approximately 120 representatives of the media, corporate executives, socially responsible investment firms, academics and others.
