Software firms tap into ICAEW's doc management accreditation

Document management, workflow and archive specialists Easy Software has just been unveiled as the first document management firm to become accredited by the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales on its new document management accreditation scheme.

'This new document management scheme gives our members valuable access to reliable, independently assessed reports on document management products and vendors who are targeting the accountancy market,' explained Craig McLellan of ICAEW's Accredited IT Product Scheme. 'This is in response to the demands of our members who are embarking on projects to get rid of paper and adopt electronic document management technologies.' McLellan said that Easy Software had already installed solutions in a number of accountancy firms. 'Its products are included in the portfolios of Star Computers and Spacemaker,' he added.
