Building materials group CRH restated its 2004 earnings to show the impact of new financial reporting regulations.
In a statement, it said its pre-tax profits for last year rose by 9pc under the new IFRS standard to E1.104bn. Profits after tax rose 13pc to E2.76bn.
Basic earnings per share rose by 14 per cent to 163.6 cents compared to 143.9 cents. Turnover fell 1pc, however.
