Few problems seen with new corporate governance rules: SID

Company directors say they should have no major problems complying with the stricter corporate governance rules proposed by the Singapore Exchange.

The Singapore Institute of Directors also debunked market talk that the new rules could discourage people from becoming company directors.

The institute was responding to plans announced on Monday by the SGX to tighten corporate governance rules in Singapore.
