Sarbox Risk - Study Underway to Assess Total Cost of Internal Controls Over Financial Reporting

The Hackett Group and KPMG LLP are working together on a first-of-its-kind benchmark assessing the costs of internal controls over financial reporting relating to Section 404 of the Sarbanes-Oxley Act of 2002. The benchmark will quantify cost gaps between participants' internal control initiatives; catalogue the practices that correlate with total lower costs, and provide participants with recommendations to help reduce the cost of their internal controls and compliance efforts.
