GE InVision Technologies, a unit of General Electric, was fined $1.4 million by US securities regulators for violating the US Foreign Corrupt Practices Act. In court documents, US prosecutors said the company or its agents might have paid bribes to Thai officials to secure a bid to supply 4.3 billion baht worth of scanners to the new airport.
