Tim Draper slams Sarbanes Oxley as backlash builds in Silicon Valley to burdensome regulations

I am really sorry that Mr. Draper had to leave all his public boards, but either he was not on top of his work on them or he was on too many. Either way he should not have been on so many.

I understand that it is difficult to say no when and friend or someone important invites you to join their board. However, board participation is an important job and should be treated as such. That means having the time to do the complete job.

Sarbanes-Oxley had to happen, as self regulation has not worked!
