‘Enforce corporate governance practices’

The Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) says Zambian companies should enforce corporate governance practices in order to improve their performance.

SEC chief executive Clement Sichembe said in an interview recently that companies must apply the code of ethics for corporate governance.

Mr Sichembe said corporate governance improves efficiency in the operations of corporate institutions and helps to increase their productivity.
