Internal auditors vital in change management

Corporate Governance Centre (CGC) said on Thursday internal auditors are vital to any organisation because of their role in operational and financial changes.

Stewart Malata, one of CGC directors, said at the opening of a training of trainers workshop in Blantyre that Malawi needs effective internal auditing services in both public and private firms for continued development.

“Apart from deterring corruption, internal audit is one of the key driving forces towards delivery of change in any institutional environment.
