Scottish Re Executives to Speak at the International Symposium on Corporate Governance for Insurance Companies in Beijing

Scottish Re Group Limited, a global life reinsurance specialist, announced today that Scott Willkomm, President and CEO, and Hugh McCormick, Executive Vice President of Corporate Development, will present at the 2005 International Symposium on Corporate Governance for Insurance Companies being held at the St. Regis Hotel in Beijing, China. The event is being co-sponsored by the Chinese Insurance Regulatory Commission and LeBoeuf, Lamb, Greene & MacRae, L.L.P.

Messrs. Willkomm and McCormick will be discussing Corporate Governance and Maintaining Insurer Financial Strength on June 23, 2005, the first day of the conference. Mr. Willkomm will also speak at a session entitled The New Era of Corporate Governance, also on June 23, 2005.
