Smaller firms see business advantage in CSR

Some of the most innovative examples of Corporate Social Responsibility are to be found amongst smaller businesses, a conference on awareness about CSR in Europe was told.

CSR - where companies integrate social and environmental concerns in their business operations on a voluntary basis - is normally associated with large companies. But a conference on June 14 took stock of a pan-European campaign to raise awareness of CSR among small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs).
