In a bid to bring about transparency and accountability of the companies in the capital market, a two-day international conference on corporate governance begins from July 30-31 in the city.
President Professor Dr. Iajuddin Ahmed is expected to inaugurate the conference titled "Corporate Governance in Bangladesh" first of its kind in the country.
Finance and Planning Minister M Saifur Rahman, Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs Minister Moudud Ahmed and Commerce Minister Altaf Hossain Chowdhury will address the seminar.
