Thank you for this opportunity to share the NAPF’s thoughts on corporate governance and financial reporting with you.

I have seen significant developments on these issues in my three years at the NAPF. Soon after I arrived Derek Higgs began his review of the role of non-executives. The year that followed saw a very heated debate – much of it played out in the press – on how companies should be governed and the role of institutional investors.
