Corporate governance and growth of any corporate entity are complementary, Mr Santosh Mohan Dev, the Union minister for heavy industries and public enterprises, said today while inaugurating a four-day directors’ certification programme on corporate governance. The programme was organised by the Standing Conference of Public Enterprises in association with the department of public enterprises.
The minister said: “The importance of corporate governance is more for the public sector as they handle public funds and public aspirations are involved.
