Corporate Governance: What should the government be doing?
Corporate governance is a subject that can be defined in many different ways and at its extremes can include everything from the most basic aspects of company law through to the minutiae of how an individual board arranges its business meetings. This paper looks solely at corporate governance as it affects companies incorporated under the Companies Acts. It does not seek to address possible government involvement in governance of other types of organisation.
