It is a pleasure to hear a Murdoch refer to the board and to the board's control over their position.
James Murdoch was quoted as saying "My appointment is at the discretion of the board . . . but it is my hope and intention to be here for the long term."

British Sky Broadcasting has moved a step closer to reaching its target of 8m subscribers by the end of the year as the pay-television company reported a strong rise in full-year profits.
Europe's largest satellite television company, led by James Murdoch, attracted 83,000 new subscribers in its fourth quarter to the end of June, taking the total at that point to 7.8m.
The company said pre-tax profits for the year to June 30 rose 32 per cent to £425m on turnover up 11 per cent at £4.05bn.
