Executive Vice Chairman of the Nigeria Communications Commission, Engr. Ernest Ndukwe has admonished operating companies in the telecommunications sector to observe good corporate governance and approach to business so as to sustain the growth experienced in the sector in the past four years.
Engr. Ndukwe spoke at the one day seminar organised by the Joint Action for ICT Awareness and Development (Jacitad) which held in Lagos yesterday. "Corporate governance is about promoting corporate fairness, transparency and accountability", Ndukwe told the audience comprising mainly of operators in the telecommunications industry, ICT practitioners, telecom service consumers and media men.
