Operational Risk - Organizations Find Unexpected Benefits from Sarbanes-Oxley Compliance


Senior finance executives say that automating compliance and control environments is a priority in year two of Sarbanes-Oxley compliance, according to a new CFO Research Services survey conducted on behalf of PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) and Virsa Systems. In a survey of 180 senior finance executives, supplemented with in-depth interviews, over 75 percent of respondents said automation of their compliance and control environments is a top or moderate priority over the next 12 months.
