More companies around the globe are undertaking corporate responsibility (CR) reporting, according to KPMG’s fifth international survey of corporate responsibility. The information disclosed is broadening from environmental and health and safety to sustainability, which captures environmental, social and economic concerns.
The results show that Japan and UK lead the way, while Australia ranks 11th - with only 23 per cent of companies issuing a stand-alone CR report. The triennial KPMG survey analyses global trends in CR reporting by the world’s largest corporations, including the top 250 companies of the Fortune 500 and the top 100 companies in 16 countries.
