Good Corporate Governance Key Criteria To Enhance Shareholders' Value

Good corporate governance is a key criteria to enhance shareholders' value, says Laurence A.Rieger, executive in charge of corporate governance, enterprise risk management and internal audit services of Crowe Chizek and Company.

He said that corporate governance is a system an organisation has in place to protect and enhance the interests of its diverse stakeholder groups.

Most studies showed that good corporate governance had always given good returns for the shareholders, he said at a morning talk on "Corporate Governance: Does it Contribute to Financial Performance Improvement?" here Friday.
