For the fourth time in a row, Wisconsin Energy Corporation (NYSE: WEC - News) has received a perfect 10.0 -- the highest possible score -- from GovernanceMetrics International (GMI), a corporate governance research and ratings agency.
Wisconsin Energy is one of only four companies worldwide to achieve a perfect rating for the fourth consecutive time. WEC joins Colgate-Palmolive, Cooper Industries Ltd. and PepsiCo, Inc. in this distinction. Out of more than 3,200 global companies rated by GMI during this period, only 33 were rated 10.0.
