Governance talks planned
Financial auditors Pannell Kerr Foster (PKF) will this Friday hold a one day seminar on corporate governance.
The seminar, which is expected to attract more that 150 participants mainly from the private sectors, will be held at Grand Regency Hotel.
Dubbed ‘Towards Best Practises in Corporate Governance,’ the seminar has been organised to sensitise the public as well as the private sector on the benefit of good governance in achieving the much required goals.
Corporate governance has ben cited as a key element in improving economic efficiency and growth as well as enhancing investors’ confidence. The seminar comes at time when seismic events have been shaking investors’ confidence in the country’s commitment to good governance and the changes the government intends to undertake to achieve it.
