Senior technocrats serving as directors of state enterprises have a duty to promote principles of good corporate governance, Finance Minister Thanong Bidaya said.
Improving the corporate governance of Thai companies was critical for the development of the Thai market and economy, he said.
Dr Thanong, speaking at a seminar yesterday, said the first step was to promote a culture focused on fair and transparent operations within organisations.
