Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI) president R Ravi today stressed that corporate governance encompassed best management practices, compliance of law, adherence to ethical standards, and discharge of social responsibilities for sustainable development of all stake-holders.
Mr Ravi was speaking at the ICSI awards presentation function here today. Corporate goveranance, he said, was not only the key to Corporate excellence but basic to social and national excellence.
Former Chief Justice of India V N Khare and State Minister for Industries Ashok Chavan were also present on the occasion.
