China's insurance watchdog, the China Insurance Regulatory Commission, has issued a first-time document highlighting the establishment of the mechanisms for Independent Director in the country's insurance sector.
The director of the Commission Wu Dingfu says that the Commission will further improve the operations of China's insurers, and will take action to protect the legal rights and interests of the insurant and investors.
