Corporate governance - Spain catches up
Proposed revisions to Spanish corporate governance guidelines are another step in the right direction.
The Spanish stock market regulator, Comisión Nacional del Mercado de Valores (CNMV), published a draft document last month suggesting revisions to the country’s current corporate governance guidelines.
The new recommendations are a merging and update of the Olivencia and Aldama Report guidelines on corporate governance from 1998 and 2003 respectively.
