Havas names third CEO in less than a year


This is the problem when you have personalities running a company, it becomes just that, an issue of personalities, or clash thereof.

That is OK if it is their own company they want to mismanage, but when a company is partially listed, and even more so when they have takn control with only a minority holding.

Serves the majority shareholders right, when the own the majority and they allow an entrepreneur treat their company like a private fiefdom.

Havas, the French marketing services group, yesterday named its third chief executive in less than a year, handing the post to the leader of its advertising-buying unit.

The change was revealed as Havas issued an earnings report that suggested its business performance was lagging behind those of industry leaders such as Omnicom of the US, WPP of the UK and Publicis of France.
