The SEC's announcement of new disclosure rules for executive compensation should cause every public company to review their executive compensation and disclosure policies. Activist shareholders, their advisers, the stock exchanges, court decisions, and politicians are also increasing the pressure on Boards of Directors. This event will focus on the proposed SEC rules and the challenge to Boards of Directors to define new policies and to reevaluate the compensation packages they are offering to attract and retain executives and directors.

Parallel events will soon be held in San Francisco, Los Angeles, New York, Orange County, and Seattle. Special appreciation is given to Orrick Herrington & Sutcliffe and Watson Wyatt Worldwide for their cooperation in this event.
