Information technology has become the buzz phrase in the new world of computer law. For 2006, PLI's Institute on Computer & Internet Law will focus on critical new topics in this area: Information security, compliance issues for in-house counsel, the effect of Sarbanes-Oxley and corporate governance on computer and IP law, as well as IP infringement. The world has become a global marketplace, and as a result, international issues must be confronted by technology lawyers.
