The 17th World Congress of Accountants will be held in Istanbul, Turkey, from the 13th to the 16th of November 2006.
According to the WCA, the theme for the 2006 Congress will be 'Generating Economic Growth and Stability Worldwide'.
WCA said the theme reflected the mission of IFAC and the work of its 163 member organisations in 119 countries to strengthen the profession and to enhance worldwide economic and social stability.
