The rating agency Expert has raised OJSC VolgaTelecom’s corporate governance rating to “A”. VolgaTelecom’s corporate governance is developing swiftly based on strategic initiatives by the management and shareholders of the company.
“We believe it to be a fundamental principle to build our activity on the basis of information transparency - notes OJSC “VolgaTelecom” General Director Sergey Omelchenko, - so, the raise of the company’s corporate governance rating testifies to the fact we are on the right side of the post”.
In the opinion of the rating agency’s experts the level of disclosure of financial and non-financial information about OJSC “VolgaTelecom” activity, high activity of the Board of directors deserve the highest rating.
